The NordicTrack Elite 12.0 elliptical features a 25-lb flywheel, an Eddy Current resistance system with digital controls for 20 levels, and a power ramp that rises to 20% and declines to -10%. The stride length adjusts automatically to compensate for the longer or shorter strides required by the ramp angle.

This feature helps to recruit more muscle involvement as a steep ramp and higher resistance work the glutes and hamstrings, while a low ramp angle and shorter stride works on the quadriceps.
