The Word on the Street

The Vision S7200HRT Suspension elliptical is a light commercial trainer that features the patented PerfectStride™ technology that combines four key elements – a natural elliptical footpath, ergonomically correct foot positioning, optimal stride adjustments, and proper posture using neutral footplate positioning. The Perfect Stride motion mimics your own natural walking gait to minimize joint stress. The less-than-2" pedal spacing also helps to reduce stress on hip joints.

To achieve a super smooth and quiet operation, the ECB-Plus™ magnetic resistance system uses a motor-controlled bracket with eight magnets around a heavy 23-lb flywheel, which is attached to a Quiet-Glide™ Super Silent poly-V belt drive train. The padded oversized foot pedals are attached (“suspended”) on arms linked to the drive train. Since the trainer uses no rollers or roller tracks, there is less maintenance and better performance.

More features of the Vision S7200HRT include a low 9-inch step-on height for easy access, an adjustable 20" to 23" stride length, as opposed to 20-21" on the S7100 model,  and 20 levels of incline from 13% to 39% incline ramp to target different muscle groups.

The dual-action arms and multi-position hand grips provide a convenient upper body workout.

While the S7200HRT Suspension elliptical provides a number of great workout programs, it also includes SPRINT 8®, which is found only on Vision Fitness machines.

Our Thoughts on the S7200HRT Elliptical

The Vision S7200HRT Suspension elliptical gets great reviews for being a beautifully designed trainer with above average adjustability and ergonomics, a good warranty, and decent value for the high price of $3,999. ($3,399 on sale if you can get it)

Since it offers most of the same features as the commercial S70 suspension trainer, it makes more sense to go with this one.

On the other hand, you can also save $1K by going with the S7100 model priced at $2,999 and not be compromising too much on quality or features.
